Scientific research and development are more fascinating than ever, and Greg Suess, Scientific Communications Manager at AlphaGroup, is helping the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies bring their latest discoveries to market. In less than a year with the company, Greg has parlayed his doctoral academic expertise into producing materials communicating various therapeutic areas and medical spaces, ranging across preclinical and clinical disciplines.

A PhD graduate in neuroscience, Greg embraces our diverse assignments exploring the worlds of oncology, virology, hematology, and neurology, amongst others. In his effort to interpret scientific content designed to improve patient outcomes, he is an integral member of AlphaGroup’s dynamic expansion of its AlphaScientia, AlphaBioCom, and AlphaQsci medical communications agencies.

Fortunately, in October, Greg had the opportunity to meet his colleagues in person during the company’s Charleston, SC “Great Escape.”

Greg joined the company in February of this year. He was fully immersed at his virtual onset under the guidance of Gregory Bezkorovainy, Vice President and Scientific Director for AlphaGroup. His passion for advancing medical communications was immediately met as he delved into client assignments spanning various areas of research and therapeutics.

In joining the AlphaGroup team of scientific and medical affairs communication specialists, Greg has enjoyed the company’s trademark culture for clear communication, employee connection, and diversity and inclusion. His first ten months with the company were entirely virtual, and even while working remotely with team members, Greg found the company to be empowering and immersive.

Fortunately, in October, Greg had the opportunity to meet his colleagues in person during the company’s Charleston, SC “Great Escape.” This post-pandemic agency excursion was designed to celebrate AlphaGroup’s extraordinary growth and to offer its growing number of employees the chance to meet face-to-face. Greg and his wife Kirsten were welcomed by AlphaGroup’s multifaceted team of PhD scientists, MDs, PharmDs, nurses, designers, and communications and innovation experts during this three-day event.

Through various activities, including golf, catamaran sailing, beach horseback riding, and delectable dining events, Greg found mutual interests and professional visions with AlphaGroup’s team. Unilaterally, the members of the company’s three medical and scientific communications agencies shared the goal to deliver the highest-quality scientific, medical affairs, and outcomes communication services anywhere in the world while enjoying one another’s interests along the way.
