JUNE 23, 2020Erin Crocker, CMPP, is Vice President, Account Director of AlphaScientia. Erin leverages more than 10 years of medical and pharmaceutical industry experience and is renowned for her dedication to building strong client relationships. Erin co-leads AlphaScientia to furnish clients with industry-leading high-quality deliverables and excellent client service. Her publication and medical affairs experience across multiple therapeutic areas—including Oncology, Inflammation, Gene Therapy, Cardiovascular, Respiratory, Neurology, Ophthalmology, and Dermatology—gives Erin the acute knowledge and visionary processes to deliver engaging, cross-functional communications.
In addition to receiving her certification as a medical publication professional from International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP), Erin is a certified holistic health coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She completed her business education at California State University Channel Islands.
Prior to AlphaScientia, Erin held multiple executive positions at AlphaBioCom, a leading scientific communications agency. During her four-year tenure at AlphaBioCom, Erin oversaw multiple large and medium-sized accounts totaling approximately $4 million of business within publications and medical affairs. She managed agency resourcing, work allocation, mentoring and training for client services, and set yearly objectives to assist with personnel development goals. Erin was an instrumental member of the senior leadership team where she provided input and developed strategic publication and tactical plans with clients and participated in new business development.
Erin brings a wealth of medical communications experience, having also previously worked for Cactus Communications, Amgen, and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. She is a strong, passionate, proactive leader who exceeds expectations and seamlessly manages urgent situations to help her clients and company achieve success.
An avid ice hockey fan, Erin and her husband have enjoyed many Los Angeles Kings games, which they look forward to attending once the NHL declares it is safe for the league to end their pause due to COVID-19. In the meantime, Erin is learning to bake and is raising chickens at home with her daughter Henley who enjoys the warm bread and chicks. A native California girl, Erin and her family spend a lot of time outside in her hometown of Solvang, just north of Santa Barbara. She also stays active on her Peloton bike when her husband, a firefighter and essential worker during these times, is helping to keep people safe.
